Flat embroidery or 3D puff: which should I pick?
Flat stitch sits low on the fabric and handles detailed logos, small text, and tight design areas well. It's the default for corporate uniforms and clean brand marks. 3D puff rises off the surface with foam backing and reads bold from a distance. Best for varsity numbers, large block text, sports lettering, and streetwear-style branding. Fine details get lost in 3D puff lift, so it's not the right choice for intricate logos.
Is there a minimum order for embroidered sweatshirts?
Yes. Six pieces per design is our embroidery minimum for hoodies and sweatshirts. The setup involves digitizing your logo and threading the machine, which has a fixed cost regardless of quantity. Per-piece pricing drops as your order grows. Corporate uniform rollouts, alumni gear, golf team orders, and small brand drops all fit comfortably at the six-piece floor.
Can I approve the digitized design before production?
Yes. We send a digital proof showing your digitized logo, thread colors, and placement on the sweatshirt before we run production. You confirm placement (left chest, full back, sleeve), thread colors, and stitch style. If you're ordering online, leave a note at checkout asking for the digitized proof. By phone or email, just tell your agent.
