The artwork side of things can be pretty confusing, please use the following guidelines the best you can, let us know if you have any questions and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Pixel Based Files

These file types need to be a minimum of 300dpi and scaled to size. Multiple colored artwork should be provided as a layered file with each color on its own layer, please label each layer with it’s intended color.

Vector Files

For best printing results we recommend all type should be done in Illustrator. Please convert all fonts to outlines, just in case we don’t have the same font as you. Scale artwork to size.

Please provide your artwork as a totally black and white image. If you have any grey areas or tonal detail/gradients these will need to be converted to a halftone, we can do that for you at this end.

Color References

If an accurate color match is important to you we suggest you supply us with either an uncoated pantone reference from a book, or a physical sample of something. We don’t suggest matching colors from a screen as our monitor here can look different to yours.

If you’re in the area you’re more than welcome to come and choose colors from our pantone book if you don’t have access to one yourself.

Maximum Print Area

Download a visual guide to our maximum print areas, it’s in pdf format so you’ll need adobe reader if you don’t have it installed already.
